We are a small, independent union of mostly immigrant mushrooms workers in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. We represent workers at Kaolin Mushroom Farms, and work closely with a non-profit, the Farmworkers Support Committee, to fight for farmworkers rights in the mushroom industry in Chester County, PA.
We want to begin documenting the struggle of farmworkers in Chester County. It is our hope that this blog will act as a medium to share our story with the wider community and farmworker supporters everywhere.
